This season is done. Actually, it was done as soon as D$E, made his grand announcement on Channel Nine. I will never understand why he wasnt dropped from the team back then. Forget the injuries, we have been a divided rabble since that moment.

As poor as DCE has been, what about Brooks? He is in a pivotal position and suppose to get our backline moving. He rarely runs. His kicks are average. He offers nothing. Yet he gets picked every week.
The way I see it, our second-string forwards are doing their best. They really are only in the top 13 bcause of injuries. It's our much admired backline that has been pathetic over the past four matches. The three players who should be domoted immediately are DCE, Brooks and Saab.

When we sign a coach who got awarded the wooden spoon at one of the biggest franchises in the competition and players from the team who get awarded the spoon 3 years in a row wtf do you really expect. As much as I hate to stick up for Seibold at the moment, your initial part of your comment is incorrect.

Seibold was never awarded the wooden spoon whilst coaching the Broncos.

Anthony Seibold physically last coached the Broncos in Round 13 of the 2020 NRL Series (65% of the season for 3 Wins & 10 Losses) and Peter Gentle physically coached them from Round 14 up to and including the final round, Round 20 (the remaining 35% of the season) and he didn't win a game in those final 7 games.

When Seibold last coached the team, they were in 15th spot, and they remained there until Round 18. The following week (Round 19) they lost again, and the then last placed Bulldogs beat the Rabbits which then put the Broncos into last place, and the eventual winner of the wooden spoon at the conclusion of the final round the following week.

Seibold officially stepped down on the 26th of August 2020, after he had spent the previous two weeks in home isolation after having to step out of the Project Apollo bubble for a serious family matter.

During those two weeks away, he reflected on his role at the Broncos and the impact it was having on his life away from rugby league.

Broncos CEO Paul White said at the time: “For the remainder of the season, Peter Gentle will continue to coach the team, as he has done for the past fortnight."

Oh yeah, I forgot to add to all those who say that the Broncos sacked him, Seibold was not sacked, he quit.

Turbo is nowhere near the player he was, and I’m beginning to think he won’t get any better than what we saw today, which was average at best. Some of his defensive efforts were plain embarrassing, and he poses next to no threat with the ball.

Yep I am one of Brooks fans but he was very poor and really don't know why we signed him really.

DCE has gone, I wonder if Bulldog Richie will retract his statement from last week, and ask for DCE to be dropped. The rest of the team just wondered around the park. We went Koula's way once and scored, then didn't do it again for 40 minutes. Saab and Hoppa were terrible and constantly got caught out of position. All other teams, bar Titans, seem to be showing some glimpse of what next year might bring. But Not Us. Kicking game was sh1t, passing game was sh1t & overall performance was sh1t. Finally...... IMO, Tommy T is finished I'm afraid to say, he has no interest, speed or desire anymore. His missed tackles were embarrassingly poor.

Frogz, even the Titans are showing glimpse, they smashed us, we might take their trophy next year.

I really couldn’t care what happens over the next three weeks unless it involves some serious change to start addressing issues. That would be dropping Dollars and Saab, at least. We have players to step into those roles. Although Brooks hasn’t been great recently, I’d persevere with him as I think dropping both halves would be too destabilising to the team overall.

The only other option that I would be interested to see would be possibly shifting Turbo to 5/8… just curious to see how he would go there and how that changes the team dynamic. I realise it may be a challenge defensively, but curious nonetheless.

Anyway, if Seibs made some changes like the above then I’d probably watch out the season knowing they are at least doing something to address what’s happening.
