Representing Samoa in rugby league and union, he was lured to the Bondi club by Arthur Beetson.
That's a massive stretch of someone's imagination: Reserve grade, 30 years ago.... I'll bet he had posters of that reserve grade team all over the walls of his blue, red and white bedecked bedroom, and adored his Sydney City sticker on his schoolbag.
