We were going set for set, until DCE goes for the 40/20, Titans get great field position, Walker gets binned straight away, and the whole game pivots.

This is not the first time an early kick has changed the game.

So I’m wondering what the excuse is this week for DCE ? Is it the forwards letting him down ? Is it the lack of a quality 5/8 ? Poor service from dummy half ? Hard to tell on TV, but maybe it’s windy ? Ball under inflated ? Asking for a friend

If we get our **** together we can still win this. Titans are as bad as us. Can we just hang onto ball, improve the kicking game and control field position. There’s still a chance this will go down to the wire and the redemptive drop goal is on.

Yeah, another inspiring game of football led by our fearless - and quite possibly brainless - captain.

But forget about the football for a moment. Did anyone else hear Shania Twain's "Man, I Feel Like a Woman" after we scored our first try? That is a very odd choice to play at a footy stadium, but I wondered if it wasn't designed to make our boys feel uncomfortable and put them off their game.

Then I started thinking, what if they played "It's Raining Men"? Or the Village People's "YMCA"? Throw in a little Bronski Beat with "Small Town Boy" and maybe Soft Cell's version of "Tainted Love". Sylvester's "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" is a given, as is a track or two from Culture Club. You get the idea: totally gaying it up for the Sea Eagles.

If I was in charge of the stadium playlist, I couldn't resist. ****, I'd even be doing it at 4 Pines Park!
