Not 100% sure of my facts here but Harold Mats beat the unbeaten bunnies, SG Ball destroyed the unbeaten bunnies, NYC we smashed the bunnies who up to this point were unbeaten, NRL bear the bunnies who are now 3 and 1.

I think I heard a Flegg score and Souffs won 50-4 or some horrendous score like that.
It's strange, isn't it, how good we are in the Under 16s and Under 18 but so poor in the Under 20s.

It's cyclical .... 90% of these kids are imported .... and all of them cost various degrees of coin to get them to the Peninsula .... either accomodation, schooling etc etc .... it is difficult to have 3 very strong junior teams at once ... I think what you hope for is to have 6/7 pearls in each age group ... then by the time they hit u/20's you have a very talented combined squad of 18 to 20 year olds ...

A few years back we were strong in the 20's and useless in the youngsters ..... it will be that way again ... I can't ever see a situation where Manly with few local juniors will produce/buy 17 top class players every year off a production line .....
