I like to remember the day after too. When we got home from the game around midnight, my neighbour was in his garage with another neighbour, pissed, rewatching the game. I went to bed and got up in the morning, took the rubbish out, and they were still in his garage rewatching the game sinking beers. Legends!

I was one of the lucky few to be snuck into the Leagues club and attend the after match function.

It was a disaster for the Leaguies, probably 25,000 trying to get in causing a riot outside. I came down from the function to watch Wolfman crowd surfing inside the club with a Wolf Mask on as the players came in.

That moment that Beaver scored, and I’m not ashamed to admit it, I had tears rolling down my cheeks.

In fact I’m almost tearing up just remembering it now.
