Tom T named to play Newcastle

A hairy assed trainer saying get up your right mate is a bit different to 2 weeks of treatment, specialist reports , MRI scans, and 2 weeks of observations like they have with Tom.
Exactly... it's just unfortunate that the ACL decided to have a conniption as well..

Barrett mentioned on the Fox Sports Market Watch podcast that they wouldn't contemplate risking Tom if he wasn't 100%

So you can guarantee if he takes the field it will be because he is spot on.

If he's fully recovered why would you wait to play him until after the bye.

Because he is the future of the club, a franchise player. And its newcastle

So he gets through the captains run, he's 100% and you don't play him?

I'm all for not playing him if he's not right, but if he's good to go, he plays.
Thing is the club has
We have so many experts in this place. The club could save some cash and just defer here for advice and decisions on signings, selections and medical advice.
Risk Vs reward.
A very wet track for a 105kg fb who is coming back from an ankle injury ( Barrett even said his body type will be prone to those types of injuries) a history of brining players back too early to their detriment, playing the wooden spooners, a player we are building a team around with DCE and we have a bye next week, giving him 15 more days recovery, we are cruising nicely and in top 8.
Vs maybe having a positive influence against Newcastle.

Yes I'd rest him.

Yes lets rest a 100 % fit and ready to fire player and to make sure he does not get out of his house and slip on the wet foot path and do his ankle again we should go all the way to keep him wrapped up in cotton wool and keep him rested in bed !!!
Good night Tommy . Take it easy son

Say what?! Which club have you been watching for the last 15 years? Our players always seem to come back a few weeks later than the club originally says while players from other clubs seem to return early.
