No doubt they know he will never accept. I imagine they have some sort of legal advice suggesting that if he refuses, they don't have to pay him the full amount he is owed; whereas if he does, they are up for the full cost of his final year.

If this is true, the club is a joke and Penn really doesn't have the clubs best interests at heart -- like he says he does.

I hate the term "man manager". It is sexist and sounds like something out of the 1900s. What about "manager" or "people manager". ****wits at my work talk about man management, but to me management is about people and results. Adding "man" on the front is a total wank.

Does Joe Kelly still play for us? Ever since Boz moved back haven't heard much about him. If there were no problems between Tooves and the Penn/zorba/bozo camp, surely he would be a natural fit for the job. Would be more use than working on his suntan at some Fijian resort.
