Turbo is too resilient for medical retirementWhat are the odds of a medical retirement if he keeps it up?

Yes Tom Does Deserve to Win a Manly PremiershipYou could be right Bozo
At the going rate it will be two derailed clubs battling it out
I am a fan of Tom but he is looking more banged up than previous years I do wish him well though and deserves to win a premierships whilst at Manly
They are not the issue. The corruption is obvious in the fact Burgess, Choc and co were not denied a medical retirement.Controversial opinion.
The NRL was right the deny us medical retirements for Matai and Stewart.
The Koula/Hoppa to 1 debate is interesting. Koula is more explosive and can create numbers with his speed but is less silky with his passing game. Hoppa is a great last line in defence and has a stronger yardage carry to allow for a quick play-the-ball. It really is splitting hairs.Turbo needs to fight his way through the next 18 months and then give it away. Bitterly disappointing for all Manly fans but it is what it is. As a last effort, I hope they put him in the centers and give Koula a shot at 1 (far more dynamic then Hoppa). It would be a real issue if the club extend him and Jake. Both have been great servants and hopefully get on the coaching side of things for us but their playing days need to end in 2026
Except to add Koula is very much wasted at centre, his best games in a Manly jersey were at FB, love to see him given a fair go at 1. Hoppa is very silky which makes me think he could have at least been tried at 6 over the origin period, would be a better choice than JA. I’d like to see Hoppa given a go to play what he sees, also think he would link in to our backline plays without missing a beat, nothing seems to phase him, has football talent, ball playing might just be his thing. The Koula/Hoppa to 1 debate is interesting. …. I though that he came back because he ran out of sick leave!I reckon he only came back from injury last time so that he could try and get him self another Blues jersey.....
I just don’t get the argument abot having 3 players on $1m wrecking the roster. Tell me a successful club that doesn’t have $1m players on their books. Melbourne have done it year after year and seem to do pretty well.Writing this from the lovely country of cheese and onion pizza. I may have mentioned 4-5 years ago that manly will never win a comp with the turbo jurbo $ce combo. All the last 5 years of false hope are now laid bare and it will become a fact.
I wish the club well, and just hope we do not get the spoon while they are all here. Game changed, manly did not. Maybe we are a hope in 2027. We will not win until all 3 are gone and that is sad
But…good to see you still here mark. Shame about that soup offal it reminds me of Kevin ward.
Eagles may fly but soaring to glory will take more than a turbo boost.
Thanks for reading cya next year, or not.
I see your point. Koula gassed quicker than Hoppa though…the conundrum continues 😂Except to add Koula is very much wasted at centre, his best games in a Manly jersey were at FB, love to see him given a fair go at 1. Also, 'spine' players need a voice. For instance at fullback these days they are supposed to direct the troops in defence. Both youngsters Hoppa and Koula seem pretty quiet so far. Especially Tolu, he rarely even cracks a grin!I see your point. Koula gassed quicker than Hoppa though…the conundrum continues 😂
Only Turbo could find an injury that nobody has even ever heard of… 🤣![]()

The fullback won't play this week against the Brisbane Broncos.www.zerotackle.com
DIdnt he do some fancy rehab in the USA???Only Turbo could find an injury that nobody has even ever heard of… 🤣
Ironically, I posted somewhere (here, I think) years ago, that he should go and see somebody who works with myofascial trains. With that many injuries, somebody should be looking at the mechanics of tension and compression through his movements. I guess it’s still a relatively unknown area, and on the outer of mainstream physio work within clubs.
Yes, he did… but I’m pretty sure that wasn’t the type of myofascial work I was referring to. That said, it was out of the box, and seemed to fail. When a club tries something left field and it doesn’t work out, they will often go back to what they knowDIdnt he do some fancy rehab in the USA???
We should play both at fullback! 🤪The Koula/Hoppa to 1 debate is interesting. Koula is more explosive and can create numbers with his speed but is less silky with his passing game.
