Interesting this week that Tom didn't return the kicks but pretty much exclusively passed the ball on to Saab. Of his 221m only 12m were from kick returns. 2 things: 1, it looks like he isn't taking unnecessary chances and 2, what would his run metres figure have been if he had?

There was a period in the 2nd stanza where he looked off and moving a bit odd but soon turned it on again.

Will be interesting if they do pick Luai then does Wighton not play? If Jack does play then is Turbo a winger because they won't leave Latrine out surely...

They have before and while his form is good his discipline or brain snaps are a worry

Tom is a once in generation player, if we can keep him fit anything is possible.

The tigers were on top, and tom did what great players do. He grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and turned it in our favour. He made other players look good and he led the team to a point of self belief.

We could win the comp if he stays fit or get the spoon if he is injured again soon.

I noticed that as well, he avoided running the ball back at all. Good though, I think that’s a coaching tactic because it’s how he’s re-injured himself previously.

He also looks a bit tentative to stride out. Happy to find support play. Even when he scored he was very cautious.

Considering he has absolutely dominated the first two games back it’s scary to think how good he’ll be at full tilt.

Anyone else notice Tom pull up a bit strangely just before he scored his try ? I was worried at that point.

I like the way he is being eased back . 65 minutes for games 1 and 2 back and the team performing is helping this.

What a difference he adds, the cutting edge that was no where is now now a lethal weapon seeing him hit a gap at speed is shredding defences like it did yesterday. We are a much more potent side with Tommy firing.

I noticed him look as thought he may have had a twinge in the first half and he started to give it to Saab all of the time to return kicks. That was towards the end of the first half. He looked okay in the second half but he looked to be careful when scoring his try in the second half. Hopefully just a nervous twinge nothing more.
