Poor old Scott is probably still smarting from the club getting in trouble for that little old lady that willed some money to Foran back in the day. We are certainly a heavy hitter in the corporate movers and shakers club. I think the NRL investigation into Morgan Harpers meat tray win is still ongoing.
NB None of these details may be correct.
That little old lady was Brenda Duchen, an absolute wonder of a woman. After raising three kids (and coaching in an elite swimming program as they grew up) Brenda went back to uni and got her law degree. She used that degree to help countless underprivileged people, largely pro bono.
So attack the club all you want, but not Brenda who, incidentally, helped Foz through some of his toughest times.
