Two interstate home games in 2016

Where? I know before the season started the club was negotiating with the South Aussie government to bring games to Adelaide (probably the Adelaide Oval) with BJ being a big draw because he grew up here. But I haven't heard anything since then.

Take the Cowboys or Warriors to Perth

Warriors because you're guaranteed a win and Cowboys because you'd get another 5,000+ in attendance than you would at Brookie.

Not Queensland the other one

The NRL will play games in outposts like Mt Isa or Broome before they go to Tassie. Hell, there has even been an NRL game played in the South Aussie town of Whyalla when the Adelaide Rams played the Steelers there in 1998. Ironic really, it was a Rams home game but Whyalla is known as the "Steel City" thanks to the BHP steelworks....and Illawarra's major sponsor was BHP.

Not counting rep games or home games for the Western Reds (1995-97), Adelaide Rams (1997-98), or the Drizzle (1998 - ), since premiership games first started being played interstate in 1989 there have been a total of 38 games played in Australia outside of the traditional NSW, Qld and ACT areas.

Adelaide Oval - 7 games (1991-2011)
Hindmarsh Stadium (Adelaide) - 2 games (2006-2009)
Lathlain Oval (Perth) - 1 game (1999)
nib Stadium (Perth) - 9 games (2005-2015)
Olympic Park (Melbourne) - 1 game (1993)
Princes Park (Melbourne) - 2 games (1994)
Richardson Park (Darwin) - 3 games (1991-1995)
Subiaco Oval (Perth) - 1 game (2012)
TIO Stadium (Darwin) - 4 games (2012-2015)
WACA (Perth) - 8 games (1989-1994)

As a member and season ticket holder it would be nice to know what home games will be taken away but I guess that all depends when Greenturd releases the 2016 draw. Not holding my breath on that one!

If we take a game away from Brooky, should we not consider having a game at Homebush over the Easter period?? Just a chance the club might make some money if they did a double header with another Sydney club, The dogs, rabbits, worms and tigers make a motza over that weekend and really our club should consider that as well!

I am o.k. with the club taking games interstate to make some money, plenty of other clubs do this, but I would like is advanced information so I can plan to travel there if I want to.

Earlier this year was a joke with a couple of gamness just being announced as being played somewhere (anyones guess), and then it was quite late notice that we were going to Albury.

They should announce what grounds games will be played at when the draw is released.

Sadly, I think the day will come when we're talking about which two home games WILL be played at Brookie, rather than which two won't be.

Rat Park (which not being a Northern Beaches local I'm assuming to be Pittwater Park, though I could be wrong).....would that make it a "Home & Away" game? 😛
