Whilst I was disappointed with the handling of the Jamie Buhrer contract etc I said at the time that Uate will be a great buy for us. Good players don't lose it overnight. He was being stiffed by Nathan Brown and Newcastle and they banished him to reserve grade. The great Bozo recognized a deficiency we had on the wing and also recognized the talent Uate possessed. He is exactly what we needed. You only need to look how we start our sets this year compared to last. Uate, big, fast, powerful 1st hit up followed by Jorge 2nd hit up and then BK 3rd. It gives our forwards the rest needed and we are reaping the rewards. All hail Uate

Yeah, career best form. I haven't seen the stats but he used to have allot of errors in his game, hardly any this year. I had serious doubts but I've been blown away by the way he's playing. Great call by Fulton to get him here.

At the start of the season I was using the Uate signing as my 100% proof that the club had lost the plot. More fool me. No disrespect to Killer or Matai, but fair dinkum, we look 1000 times faster with Uate, turbo, walker and the fastest forward in the game Lawrence. This team has already exceeded my expectations for this year, but to sneak into the top 8 would be good. Could cause a bit of trouble if they do.

Correct ... and yet some people still can't workout why our 2nd rower's hit up stats are low ...

The improvement in the whole football department is fantastic. I was not sure about Barrett, but by God this squad has bought in! API, Uate, Walker, Siri, Frank, Green, DCE.....hell why go on, the side was bagged by nearly all the posters on this site. Great to see the club kicking ass and silencing the sausage roll eaters.

Yes, I have come under attack from many "true supporters" got banned for a few days for crossing the line, but really I come on here to share My passion for Manly, which is extreme and amazingly undeterred.
