From today's Sunday Tele ....

"Racing NSW supremo Peter V'Landys has vowed to use his new role as an NRL independent commissioner to help save Sydney's ageing suburban grounds from oblivion"

Go you good thing ... and give that prick GreenTurd an uppercut while you're at it ....

The whole article is a very good read if anybody is able to reproduce it ....

Haven't read the article yet but Peter V'landys is a very shrewd operator and one who i can see taking over as CEO and doing a MUCH BETTER JOB!

He'll help the game move forward and i'm sure we'd have more of a level playing field with him than we would with that f*^kwit we now have in charge!

If you can't get around the paywall then:

hahahahahahahahahahahha @ you!

RACING NSW supremo Peter V’landys has vowed to use his new role as an NRL independent commissioner to help save Sydney’s ageing suburban grounds from oblivion.

V’landys is an old-school fan of the tribalism and atmosphere from playing and viewing games at WIN Stadium, Brookvale Oval, Leichhardt, Belmore Sports Ground, Shark Park, Campbelltown, Kogarah and Penrith.

Whilst initially reluctant to comment, V’landys was encouraged to speak up by NRL Chairman Peter Beattie on the venue issues.

I saw on the news they were talking up the Tahs game being moved to a suburban ground suggesting it was the way forward. Greenberg must love being in the 1%. Must give her an elitist feeling.

"...As for Brookvale Oval and its audition as a rugby ground? Big tick. Scores of rugby fans sipped their beers on a shoulder-to-shoulder hill and absorbed a far better atmosphere than what you get at Allianz Stadium.

The Waratahs should seriously consider moving games north of the Harbour Bridge next year when the big stadium knockdown occurs.

"You'd have to go back a couple of years to hear that NSW chant right at the end," Hooper said. "Me being a Manly boy; it was awesome...

If this happens that the Tahs play a few games at Brookie, it may provide the impetus for an upgrade. But not an over the top upgrade. Many folk still love that old charm feel over a sterile stadium experience. Stadiums only work when they are packed to the hilt, and that will not happen in our lifetime. Well maybe young Harry and Turbo will see it one day toward the end of the century.

It is nice to hear comments from someone who seems to want to listen to the fans about the stadiums we have and the need to keep the fabric of the game secure by playing at these venues.

To see 19K crowd at Kogarah today was great, the history in that place and grounds like ours show how important it is.

Anyone that opposes Greenturd has my vote on this issue!!

Even Buzz RothTurd was sober for long enough to support V'Landys in the tele this morning ....
