Can Oldfield play centre?

I can't see why not, he has plenty of size about him and seems to read the game pretty well.
Well worth a gamble from last years debut.

saw Oldfields try (intercept) Johnson the half (warriors) is quick but couldn't get near him. He is really built up in past year. Have to be quicker than Robbo. Not sure about centre but may be a great kid coming thru. Des doesn't like to play kids and is more keen on experience (from lowe)

I love Robbo, and he has been wonderful for us, but maybe a stint in the UK after this year to "rich himself up" should be the go.

You can't coach raw pace, and frankly, it is something we were sorely lacking last season.

Id prefer after next year (2011)
His skill still covers his lack of raw speed
That said if Oldfield played for anyone else,he'd be a 1st grade definate 2011
