What's wrong with the 'experts'???

Somebody shoot me because if I read another ' starting 13 ' team list in a major sport or Web based publication by so called rugby league experts that has Matthew Wright and Lewis brown in the run on side I might just pop.

Have read 5 articles from 5 different people and all have Wright in the centers and poo in the second row.

Neither would make bench for mine, but Brown seems to get away with plenty because he often plays "out of position"....I thought all "Utility" players done this??
Never understand how that makes it acceptable to grab players with your hands, instead of leading with your shoulders....whatever the position & Wright.....ordinary backup at best.....

I'd play Jono over Matthew any day. Matthew Right is average. Strong but too slow. At least Jono has a bit of speed and can find the line.
But the Wrights and Brown aren't in my starting 17. They weren't even considered to be honest.

Would not have either in my starting 13, nor on the bench. But we don't have many options and none that are quality ones for that matter........unfortunately.

Maybe a youngster will surprise us and step up???

Brown will be picked Round 1 on the bench, Mathew Wright left centre. May not end the season like that but that's how they'll start.

We will have Wright or Hastings starting cause we've got no other kickers, and if it's Hastings he'll need to play 80. Not much good us getting a penalty shot if our kicker's on the bench.

They go off the top payed players for the 17. Maybe a smokey or 2 from their point of view makes the side. It's always been the way. You/we have been entitled for a number of years when there was no uncertainty as to who the made the side year in and out

What I notice about 'experts' is that they just go for the name players. Half the players in a club they dont even know anything about it seems. They dont really have a good knowledge of what is happening in a club and which players are on the rise, unless someone happens to mention a prospect, and then they are all onto it. I suspect most supporters think the same in other clubs.

The average supporter of a club could out think most of these experts easily when it comes to their own club. They are outsiders looking in with only general knowledge of what is really happening in a club. Personally I would ignore what they say. Most members of this forum have a better understanding of what's happening than they do, and frankly unfortunately that's not much, given the secrecy of this club. But its more than they know.

The be fair to Brown he isnt really a utility. I think he's more like a small edge backrower that can play hooker. He should never have been in the centres for us.
