Worked out a fat hairy bloke (bearing an uncanny resemblance to myself) wearing a silly suit and accompanied by dingoes with horns knocked off my grog.

I like the way the avatars are to the side of the posts, instead of having to keep going up to see who has written stuff (in this smart phone programming dominated world).

Wherever anyone is or if they have re-assigned their avatar,handle, whatever they want to be, I hope they are having a happy New Year's Eve and wish them the best for 2019. The real world can be a tough place and I'm thankful to everyone involved with and who contributes to this site for the essential distraction - even when I'm arguing with you, know that I appreciate it.

PS - school holidays obviously and the three older kids were arguing about whose choice it was for a movie on Netflix. Told my six year old it wasn't his choice until next year. He didn't take it well and my wife didn't see the merit in my humour. Having said that she didn't like it ten years ago when I trotted out my usually New Year's Day pronouncement upon waking up - "well I'm off to the toilet, I haven't done a **** all year!".
