Who has the best spine?

Espn have us at 7th. Storm 1St.

7. Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles (Tom Trbojevic, Blake Green, Daly Cherry-Evans, Api Koroisau)

The addition of former Storm five-eighth Blake Green suddenly has the Sea Eagles' spine looking a lot more impressive than it did in 2016, and his arrival will benefit Manly in more ways than one.

Green will take a great deal of pressure off Daly Cherry-Evans while also allowing makeshift pivot Dylan Walker to push wider to his favoured position of centre, where he will be a lot more dangerous. Add the incredible talent of Tom Trbojevic at fullback and a premiership winner in Api Koroisau at hooker, and Manly have one of the better spines in the NRL.

Wow, where would we be if Api could pass? (winky face)

The thing is we have awesome depth in this position, I would like Hastings on the bench, think he can add some creativity, but I guess we will be stuck with the teachers pet.... Brown 🙁

Woods off contract at the end of the year...I hope we're one of the vultures circling.

I think the assessment matches my feelings about where Manly will be at the end of the season.

Don't underestimate Barrett, he got a pretty good schooling in what coaching is all about last year. I am not certain Brown is a protected species, by rd 4 last year Baz didn't have too many other choices than playing him somewhere, this year may well be a whole different kettle of beeswax.

*Muttley chuckle* 😉

Tis no way I could let that pass!

Warriors would have to be up there....Johnson is a world class matchwinner....Sheck a lethal FB.....Luke up in the top 3 dummy halves & Lolahea is a gun who is yet to peak...
Tigers with Teddy, Moses, Brooks and MB is tidy also...
Yet to read the article but not sold Slater will return to form or not be consistently on the sidelines....Smith - love him/hate him - is the best 9 in the game....Munster could well work at 5/8 and potentially very good and Cronk is a solid player up with the best

Im an api fan , but after game time i think hastings will be a better option. Api would be better off the bench, dangerous against tiring defense. Hastings has a nice passing game , kicks well in general play and can kick for goal. All n all he could make our spine stronger looking and add that x factor .

Also Hastings can play Fullback, and Halfback, as well as Hooker, and kick goals. A handy utility for sure.

I'm not sure where we sit as I'm not sold on Api as yet.
I'd put the Tigers and the Chooks above Souths and the Panthers though.

Agree Woodsie. I'm pretty sure either API or Hastings will be utility on bench and brown will only come into the side when there are injuries. Weren't they shopping him around at the end of the year?

I'm a bit concerned that The Poo may have The Goat Photos tho..
