Who will win the comp

It's the Broncs to lose.

Dogs fell apart once the Galvin saga came to fruition.
Melb are decimated by injury (yeah, thats a shame)
Raiders will bow out in straight sets. The pressure will implode them.

Sharks may or may not have Nicho, but he is custard under any sort of pressure anyway.
Wahs also decimated by injury.

Roosters and Panthers are more chance and playing better footy than any of the others bar Broncos, but have to do it the hard way.

“My poor buggers’: Ricky Stuart points finger at NRL CEO after loss to Manly“

I was indifferent to Ricky Stuart, but when he whinged & moaned about the Round 3 Raiders loss to Manly it really took the shine off Manly’s win.
So, with that I hope his mob fail in their quest.

Sharks played good finals type footy against the dogs. They look pretty good across the park - not sure Hynes makes much difference either way. They could surprise, but are just as likely to bow out against the roosters. Definitely much more wide open this year - would have coincided nicely with our premiership window if we didn’t **** the bed.

Well I can inform you that @Shells Eagles has won the footy tipping comp, 133 points with @nightster & @Chip and Chase coming in joint second.

@Shells Eagles can you message me with the following,

Your real name ( I’ll keep it a secret ) & your home address.

At the start of the season I found a 2012 World Club Challenge Scarf , the game V Leeds ( sadly we list but it was great fun ).

I donated this to @Dan for this years years comp and if you send me those details I’ll go to the post office and send it to you asap.

Congratulations ( yes the games not over yet) but you obviously picked Parramatta and the others , the Knights so nothing is changing.

Thanks mark love your work mate

Raiders or Penrith or Easts for me.

Loser of Melbourne v Canterbury is in big trouble, likely to face Penrith in week 2. I think the chooks will beat the Sharks and Raiders to beat the donkeys.

Thank you so much Mark and many thanks to Dan and others who make Silvertails possible. To be part of a group of “mad “ Eagle supporters is a blessing. It has taken me 40+ years to win a footy comp and proves to all the Silvertail female members and all of us mature members anything is possible in life. To win on Father’s Day is also special and in honour of my late dad I will be making a donation to MND Australia from my winnings. Much love to you Mark and once I work out how to message you I will … lol -And I will treasure your scarf. Thanks all. Go Manly❤️🦅

Well done Shells. I paid the penalty for thinking the Warriors had more to play for than us. Congrats on the win, karma doing its thing to ensure a true fan gets the chocolates by backing their team. Nightster kept us honest during the last few weeks too and nearly pulled off a last gasp win.

If you look at your notifications ( the little red ones ) you’ll see one in the envelope ( message ) area , click on that , once you do it’s just like a normal thread, that’s a message from me

Broncos or Storm!!
My tip are these 2 for the GF
Storm won’t win it without Hughes and NAS. They’ll go out in the preliminary final.

Broncos are mirages like the Dogs and potentially Sharks.

I would be backing the Raiders Panthers and Rorters at this stage as Trindal is a big out for the Sharks and Nicho is flakey.

Most open finals series for yonks.

It’s been a fun tipping comp this year with lots of unpredictable results for many rounds, my mistake at the end was thinking the faders would win over the fins and not being aware of the team selection.
Congrats to Shell, I’ll get you back next year😅 - unlikely, I’ll most likely be back in my usual middle of the pack position.
All the best to all ST’s

With our full squad all in form we should have made the top 4 and been a big chance..
Seriously DCE derailed the season after 4 rounds and we were looking good.
Then the injuries hit and continued to hit. And so did the teams confidence and belief.
They really missed an opportunity in 2025.
Anyway I couldn't give a rats who wins, once Manly are out so am I..zero interest.
Will watch the GF because it's a good excuse to get around the boys and make a day/ night of it.

If i have to be fair to this Post and answer as it's asked....
I'm hoping the Panthers can go for 5 from the bottom 4 Just to see tnem do it.
Happy for Canberra to win as an outsider from the usual dribble.

Don't think the Warriors are a top 8 side

Can't stand the Storm ( hope they go out in straight sets)
Can't stand the Broncos
Can't stand the Gummy Sharks
Can't stand the Rorters
Can't stand the Dogs
Actually I don't like The Panthers, Warriors or Raiders either

Did I mention im a Manly fan.. so yeah see you in 2026. 😂🤣
