Will Croker be back?

Our doctor obviously.

The independent doctor said Cat 1.
I believe the independent doctor in the bunker, made his assessment on the basis of Simpkins stumbling around after the play the ball but I suspect he may of been milking the situation to help the team

Per Seibs:
“Jake does have a mark on his face and Nelson is a big man so he copped a fair elbow from Nelson, so he stayed down because of that but he wasn’t concussed. We don’t believe it was category one but we lost him for the night so we were down to three players on the interchange bench.”

Yep the independent doctor only uses the video vision of the collisions and the players' physical reaction, such as stumbling, lying flat on their face etc. They don't speak to the players to make their assessment.

N R L are going to seem a bit pedantic if they try and discount and reject any appeal on Simpkin .
Can understand a certain criteria appraisal initially on Simpkin but not now the other considerations have come into play
Froggy is hardly going to be ready to go and not even sure if Grody is going all that well in Reggies these days .
That should not directly influence the appeal process but in the practical sense for Manly , really need the logical and favorable outcome

Said this elsewhere, but this transcription is wrong. What Seibs actually said is, "Jake DOESN'T have a mark on his face. Obviously, like Nelson's a big man, so he copped, you know, a fair elbow from Nelson, so he was, um, you know he stayed down because of that. But he wasn't concussed. Yeah, so we don't believe it was category one, but we lost him for the night."

Either the journos are crap, or the AI speech-to-text software they use is crap. But there's a big difference in meaning between does and doesn't.

Once again, the silence is deafening.

Absolutely nothing from the club about Croker and where he's at.

Does anyone know his contract status? Are they thinking medical retirement?

How many games has he played in the last two seasons?

Does the Sea Eagles organisation even know how beyond hopeless their fan communication is?

I would say Croker is cooked, has hardly played this year due to head knocks and other injuries, no point in bringing him back at this stage of the season when we're basically done, the club is probably working through something towards his retirement , similar to Aloai, so until any direction comes from the NRL, things will remain in limbo.

I’d say they are waiting for the medical retirement approval ( along with AoA ) and can’t say much until that happens , but not sure why the secrecy.

It’s clear neither are playing again

Just seeing out his contract I guess, like a paid vacation.

Crocker is Currently undergoing continuing assessment to see whether he will play again…he played tough hitting hard and could never be accused of arm grabbing …and as Bellamy said to his players do not run at him which speaks for itself…wish him all the best
