With the byes messing up the table wins as a % of games played is the only way to properly rank teams.

Sharks 83.3
Storm 83.3
Phins 66.7
Panthers 66.7
Manly 64.3
Broncos 57.1
Raiders 57.1
Cows 57.1
Drags 57.1
Wahs 50.0
Roosters 42.9
Dogs 42.9
Eels 42.9
Tigers 33.3
Knights 28.6
Bunnies 16.7
Titans 0

Does that formula allow for the drawn game ?

It’s a formula alright, just a simple one.

I must say though that I prefer my 100 points for a bye concept. The teams with byes would be so far ahead, and the ones without byes would be panicking about making the 8.

Then later when they get a bye it will be an amazingly exciting comeback, redemption story.

And vlandys could laud it over the afl, as none of their teams get close to such ladder results.

The captain of the team on the bye should go on the Matty Johns show after the last game and play Crack a Fatty from the old footy show to determine how many points they get from the bye.

Lol, ok
Just asking, so I could try and work it out, seeing as there has only been 1 draw.

We're not all bloody Pythagoras.
You can google an online calculator to work it out for you. You just need to plug in the numbers 👍

Good job.

I've considered doing this a few times since the start of last year an an ongoing thing but couldnt be bothered doing it weekly.

Love the commitment

Points for a bye is such crap. We seem to be permanently stuck with it, for no good reason I have ever heard.

What is the reason for points for the bye?
So you can look at the table and immediately tell where your team is compared to all other teams (without disadvantaging those teams that have had the bye) the above table is hardly any different to the actual table based on points but at least with the points based system I can tell very easily how many games more Manly has to win compared to another team to catch up with them where as with percentages it’s not immediately obvious.
