Both teams not at their best. Aussie attack very clunky. Physical game. Thought the defence and fitness of Australia got them over the line.
It was embarrassing listening to him try and create controversy where there was none.

Jake as usual was solid when he was on. Our defense up the middle misses him when he's not there.
Foz only came on in the 2nd half and TBH I didn't really sight him too much.

First half was outstanding. The Kiwis were near faultless and Australia did very well to hang in there and stay with them. Quality football all round. The second half… not so much. I thought our errors in the attacking third (dropped balls, giving away penalties with the ball, etc) were going to come back and bite us, but the Kiwis were probably just too tired to take advantage. Fitness may have been the biggest difference.

Yeah, he crapped on after the no try to Hiku, saying Fox touched the ball then it went in touch in goal before Hiku tried to ground it, Fox never got near it, bla-bla-bla

Tbh I thought the only question mark over it was whether fox changed his running line away from the ball at the last second
Peta Hiku had a strong game.
Really liked him as a player when he was at Manly. Always gave his best and was handy in attack.
Did a lot of great stuff off the ball that went unnoticed also.
Shame we couldn’t have kept him.
