Wow

But still one of our best today, so what does that say about the rest of them.
What did Brown do? .
Did he break tackles ?
Did he create any second phase play ?
Did he dive them back with his defence ?
If that is the best we can offer then God help us feathered friend 😉

And our missed tackles are absolutely terrible, stop the offloads and second phase play.

Conversely, we however need more offloads and second phase play.

And I think this comes down to our forwards, we need more skill and impact here.

This is why the Immortal has always liked the Big Fast players
Big Fast Players win the Big games
The Strom were too Big and Too fast today

We haven't got the forward talent yet. AFB, Perret need more games under their belt. We need a one more quality prop to show them the way.
Not team can afford to carry weak forwards and slow backs as a team with bigger and faster players will expose them .

It's funny how 5-6 weeks ago we were all getting fired up about our chances this year, how great we were and what a team of world beating, underrated guns we had. Admittedly we were playing much better footy back then but what has changed ?? Had a few out against Dragons, but that can't excuse a 50 point touch up.

Distinct lack of energy, enthusiasm and game organisation again today, much like last week. Getting a good reality check as to what is required to be a top 4 side. Consistency and Commitment with capital C's

It looks like we're burnt out kiwi.

I keep wanting to say that there is a big lack of effort but we look out on our feet. There was a 6-7 week period there where we were the best team in the competition by some margin and now its all falling apart as guys in their first and second years just don't know how to run into the finals.

I really want to jump on the deliberate lack off effort bandwagon but I just cant atm. It really does seem like a young side running out of legs.

Thats what i was thinking watching the game.

Thinking we are starting to see the missing $$ in BS and SM catching up with us. Barrett had the players playing well above and probably playing through injuries but niggles, fatigue etc look to have caught up.

That we have played so well at times when we have wanted to still gives me hope that we can make the 8 and possibly even do some damage.

Well it was great whilst it lasted , but sadly ain't great now.

We might come back from this, I hope so as to be honest I'm sick of all the **** I have to go through when we get dusted.

But I have a feeling the Rorters will be the next to line up and put 50 on us, and if they do then that's probably it for 2017.

I still think we have achieved far better than I thought we would ,remember I picked position 12 for us, so even if we finish 9 or 10 that's a great result in a rebuild year.

But who knows , we might surprise, and also know the 2017 Storm side clearly are the best on the comp so they will beat most sides , especially in Drizzleville.

Jake will never give up. Nor will any of the boys. Nor me and any of you!! We'll take our medicine and back to bad ass flying under the radar mofo eagles shortly. Were never going to win this game if smith played. Score hurts the ol' for and against, we're down but far far from out of this.
