Parish to Tigers!!! So who will be assistant Coach in 2013..

You do realise you don't NEED to live in the same area you work? Not many people live in the CBD yet many work there! Ditto North Sydney. To be completely blunt, Toovey won't last. Toovey is the Dymock of Manly at the moment and anyone who can't see that is delusional. He doesn't have...

Why we should hope the Storm wins on Sunday

OI .. I'm hanging up my boots and closing my account here if the Bulldogs win.! I made that pledge the other week :D

Parish to Tigers!!! So who will be assistant Coach in 2013..

The problem is getting someone who won't "overshadow" Toovey, or be perceived as taking his job. Which means you have to go with inexperienced/fringe coaches, OR replace Toovey with an experienced coach. Not sure what Steve Georgallis is doing these days, but I reckon he'd be worth a look...

    I'm Jealous

In comparison (as shown on this site alone), there is a large demographic of Manly supporters who don't live in Sydney, or in the Manly / Northern Beaches. Compared to Bulldogs we have a HUGE number of supporters around the Sydney and surrounding areas. I was around Brookie Grand Final time...

    Let's hope it's true . .

From what I've heard SBW's contract is a handshake and still nothing more. He's unable to be registered to the NRL because his manager is not accredited and is likely to be refused accreditation as he left his lodging too late for next year.

    Eels Hit a New Low

Well be thankful it wasn't followed by a wooden spoon. I wonder how this bloke felt though, given theres the highly probable vs the highly unlikely reason how it ended up his bum.

    Footy Nightmare Confession!!

A friendly wager my Manly friends. IF the Dogs win the Grand Final this year, I will close my account here. Totally serious. Chips are down. :) Hows that for confidence?

    C'mon Souths

Little known fact.. Manly got $90,000 from the NRL for their loss tonight. Anyway no secret that I'll be backing the Dogs. Manly were really off the radar tonight, and whilst the Storm weren't brilliant (bombed the knockout punch on Manly a few times before one connected) they did enough...

More Twitter Attacks on Robbie Farah Today

Pretty much how I see it. There is an air of irony/hypocricy too amongst some of those who are up in arms and putting support behind the Farahs and Dawsons of this world. By that I mean some of those putting support behind them are every bit as big a troll on social media as the people they...

Stevie hung drawn and quartered already

What's against Matai and King in these incidents is that the NRL and media have had a heavy focus in recent times about the protection of players necks and heads. Likewise the dirty air still floating around about Pommeroys suspension (and if that's worth two weeks, then King and Matai are in...

    Thankyou Bulldogs...

MK is it really that hard to acknowledge that the Bulldogs put on a solid performance. The game was an absolute cracker, but in the end the sides approached it from two different angles, and in this case, the Bulldogs had that right angle. Manly went for the physical approach, which, to be...

Ahhh I see it now. Left hand couple - punching equal weight. Eagle and Carney - both lightweights.

Toovey urges refs to penalise Dogs

and if you happen to lose on Friday night? Or haven't you taken that into consideration? Guess what? I won't come over here and gloat and rub your faces in it if you cop a loss on Friday.

Toovey urges refs to penalise Dogs

FACT: Bulldogs are one of the most penalised clubs in the NRL. So for others to complain they *aren't* being penalised is a complete fallacy, because they are. The NRL have caused this whole cloudy obstruction rule when they relaxed the shepher rule (I don't know why they changed). Many...

Toovey urges refs to penalise Dogs

In fairness the reason the Bulldogs DON'T get penalised for it, is because it is rarely an obstruction play. The attacking player approaches long before the try line, and then runs behind a decoy running, once the defence is spread the balls goes wide to the gap and tries are scored. If...

    Refs week 1

Jarrod Maxwell dropped? Well that's surprising (sarcasm completely intended)... Chris James annoys me when he refs the Bulldogs games. It's like having a Kris Keating clone reffing the game.

    Rumoured and Confirmed Signings

    * * * THE 14-year-old son of former Today Tonight host Stan Grant is one of the brightest prospects in rugby league. He’s so good that the South Sydney Rabbitohs have already signed him to a scholarship after sending a talent scout to watch him play. Dylan Grant plays 15As in Manly juniors...
