    I wouldn’t call Jake a big bopper. He doesn’t bend the line at all. His legs ain’t thick or move quick enough making him an easy tackle. Aloiai seems back in form this year. Just needs to have his head screwed on properly.

    I think players can train to have an offload. Also when you slow down, you have to play smarter. Learn to play the ball quicker. Stop using the player you just tackled to lift yourself up. The speed of the game nowadays make his type of player a liability.

    Loved our attack. Did not like how Cowboys made easy metres even when we dominated possession. This was a problem last year as well. We are not controlling the ruck on defence. Yes, Burbo needs to be dropped. He is as slow as Jake but can’t tackle like him.

    Rorters just have too much talent. Even their no names would be in our starting 13. Only Ole, turbo, Hopa and maybe DCE, brooks, Bullemor would make the combined team. ReSign Lodge. He is half decent. Burbo, jurbo, croker and Garrick offer nothing in attack.

    Sharks too strong and fast. Aloiai, Ben, Jake, and Croker are so anaemic in attack. We defend first 3 tackles well, then the opposition make the metres through the centre or run around us at the end of the sets.

    On our day we can beat any team. We are just not consistent enough and shoot ourselves in the foot a lot of times. We just need to play with more discipline. DCEs defence is suspect out wide, gets caught not sliding. And he jumps out of the line a lot. That’s my other concern.
