2013 Brookvale Oval Ticket Pricing

The Sea Eagles are pleased to introduce a new three-tiered pricing system for Brookvale Oval matches this season.

In a move set to slash the price of tickets for Monday Night Football, each of the 10 games held at Fortress Brookvale this year will fall into one of three categories. The price category will be based on our opponent and when the match is held.

This change comes as a result of the Club recognising there is a difference in demand for tickets between timeslots, most notably the appeal of Monday Night Football cannot compare to a Sunday afternoon. With the introduction of new timeslots such as Thursday night and Sunday twilight, the gap is only set to get wider.

Our aim is to encourage attendance at all home games and get as much support for our players as possible. By offering a discounted rate for traditionally poorly attended fixtures we hope to encourage fans to come out to support their team when they may not have in the past. To be able to offset these heavily discounted tickets, the price of popular opponents and timeslots has been increased slightly. For example, during 2012 a family ticket to a Monday Night game would have cost $70 if purchased in advance. This year fans will be charged no more than $50 for the same tickets.

Once a match goes on sale to Members and the public, it’s pricing category will not change. This means a Tier Three match won’t suddenly become Tier One if it turns out to be a top of the table clash.

Similar pricing strategies have been used at sporting events internationally with great success in boosting crowds for poorly attended games. We hope introducing our new three-tiered pricing system will have a similar result here.

Our first home game against the Newcastle Knights goes on sale to Members next Monday, followed by general public on Wednesday. Support your Sea Eagles at Fortress Brookvale, visit www.ticketmaster.com.au to secure your tickets.

We welcome any feedback on our new pricing structure, and look forward to seeing you down at Fortress Brookvale this season.

Cheers & Go Manly!

Good to see it's business as usual after all the hysteria today. Not a bad initiative I feel. Nice one.
