@HoldenV8
Sivo will probably do well at the dally M because the votes are already locked in, but his stocks fell about 300% after his performance against Storm.
Has had a great year and is a weapon but was shockingly exposed as the rookie he still is.

I'd have Tedesco, Wighton, also Murray has to be there somewhere.
Second row is an interesting one, if our guys had stayed on the field they would be in the running. Young Martin from Penrith did well in some games I saw.

He’s just another nrl overhype type. He looks great when the eels are winning big, but like that entire side/club put them in a tight contest and they are nowhere. Most overhyped team all year the eels and their finals exit was nothing but predictable. I’m sure a lot of people with sound footy brains would have cashed in on melb 13+

I went for RTS over Tedesco because while Teddy was on the back of that $10m backline, RTS basically carried the Warriors.

Wighton and Murray.....yeah I guess arguments could be made for their inclusion somewhere. Not in my team though @

Sivo is going to go one of two ways in 2020.

He'll either continue with the hype form like Semi Radradra did before him.....or he'll be another George Jennings and flop in his second full season.

Didn't follow the Dally M board, so don't know how the players scored. However, I would guess the positions of the year would be chosen from

FB Tedesco
W Sivo (JAC/Tupou/Maumalo)
C Mitchell
FE Wighton
HB DCE/Moses
L Murray/Jake
SR Fifita/Kikau
FR Papalli/AFB
H Smith/Hodges/Cook

Coach Stuart/Des/Bellamy

How is Mitchell the best centre in the game when he got dropped from Origin ?? He plays one good game in amongst half a dozen so so games.

Since Origin, Mitchell has played many excellent games, esp. at the SCG. IMO, he has been the best performing centre over the year & in top form, is a notch above the rest.

Who would be your pick?

9 manly players in your 17??????

Love the unbiased opinion

I tried to be fair. I mean, I did consider Mitchell Moses for halfback.....for about 2 seconds :p

Well, that's 2 seconds of your life you won't get back.

Well at least I didn't waste any time on considering Brad Arthur as coach

probably should have, took his team from below ours to above it so did a better job
That's only because of the soft draw that they had in comparison to ours. Our draw was mainly against this year's Top 8 sides where theirs was more against the bottom 8 sides. We beat just about all of the final 8 bar the game against the Chooks and Broncos.

Here is a list of games that the Eels won this regular season against (at the time) Top 8 sides:

Round 4 - Saturday 6th April 2019

[Ladder Position 6] - Eels 24

[Ladder Position 3] - Sharks 12

Round 6 - Monday 22nd April 2019

[Ladder Position 8] - Eels 51

[Ladder Position 5] - Wests Tigers 6

Round 8 - Sunday 5th May 2019

[Ladder Position 5] - Eels 32

[Ladder Position 8] - Dragons 18

Round 12 - Friday 31st May 2019

[Ladder Position 8] - Eels 26

[Ladder Position 1] - Rabbitohs 14

Round 15 - Saturday 29th June 2019

[Ladder Position 8] - Eels 22

[Ladder Position 4] - Raiders 16

Round 25 - Friday 6th September 2019

[Ladder Position 6] - Eels 32

[Ladder Position 5] - Manly 16

P.S. Note that all of their wins above were all 'Home' games. They did not win against a Top 8 Side at an 'Away' game this year.
