Yeah things are stupid here aswell in the nation's capital. But for the most part you can get things within the next day or 2.
I've read that a hand sanitiser needs to be at least 60% alcohol in order to kill most viruses. May as well just use a cake of soap and save the alcohol for more traditional uses.
Tito's vodka has had to tweet that using their vodka is not enough for hand sanitiser (lol) as it's only 40%.
I haven't checked the stores but rubbing alcohol and aloe vera gel (2/3 and 1/3 combo) will do nicely as an alternative.
Unless that's all been bought out too.
Soap is still the best, but when out and about, you can't really have a sink, water, and soap with you at all times.
