A friend of mine from England watched the game (poor lad is a Chooks fan) and told me on Facebook that he was impressed with how it looked. He said giving away flags like that was something Super League clubs should look at doing.

The 5k flags cost must have brought in at least 5 times their monetary value through the increased crowd numbers.
