Mate he's not coming to the club anyhow. 2UE Gibbsy said No chance and Kiwi Eagle said some station in NZ had a report from Dessie and Manly Management saying NO to Hoppa.

This was Max's media spin and this time it didn't work.

I would have seriously considered it. It was not about Hoppa but ultimately what is right for our club.

In the end my loyalty for Manly would have shone through but I would have been ashamed, had we taken that step!

Vice is free to his opinion - no problems there. I will choose to disagree with you however.

I can understand your attitude if you see people making what look to be immature claims to rescind membership if ........

If it was just an idle threat, fair enough.

My response though is that our membership model is in effect set up that members are stakeholders in the club. I did not want to stand back and see the club take a really poor decision. (Obviously Cummings, Wilson and Co know what they are doing - don't need my advice or imprimatur, but I wanted it publicly stated that there were 'true' supporters who held the opposite view to that thread, being quoted by the SMH.)

Is there a problem with that????
