TBF it was the attacking coach that killed us in that hideous game up there this year.

Does this mean Hales is done? Attacking coach for the 2021 season, which was the greatest attacking season by a Manly team ever. If you remove the first four rounds, it was the greatest attacking season of all time.

I could have been the attacking coach in 2021. Game plan = get it to Tom as soon and as often as possible, try not to get in his way. Repeat.

I don’t like Green but if we are being honest no attacking coach is fixing Knights problems this year. Hastings, Gamble & Cogger are all C level standard halves. Adding to that Ponga & Sharpe only playing half a season each doesn’t help.

If he was in charge of 2023’s attack there might be some promise but I still don’t want to see him here

Played rugby Shute shield, then league for Canberra, Newcastle then played only 2 seasons for Manly.

Green OTOH signed a two year contract with Manly for 17 /18, then Manly wanted him gone at the end of 17 as we were about to sign Mitchell Pearse from the Roosters.
Green understandably looked for a new deal and agreed to a 3 year deal with the Warriors.

Twent and our administration stuffed up the Pearce signing and he went to Newcastle due to our salary cap issues.

Understandably Green told Manly to shove it when they blocked his move to the Warriors so threatened not to play. Manly treated him like schiit.

How does this make Green a mercenary and have no Manly DNA? 🤔

The guy with the so called Manly DNA, Kieran Foran. He complained to the NRL over third-party payments he was owed implying that Manly was involved.
The rest is history after the NRL investigated and hung Manly out to dry.

Kennedy was instrumental in changing Manly from also rans to premiership contenders. His contribution was so immense he made our team of the century. That contribution far outweighs that of Blake Green and definitely gets him into the Manly DNA club. Two years after he left he was sitting sideline at the 2008 GF cheering the boys on. A Manly legend.
