Maybe, but I still hate the raiders with a passion, starting with the coach.

See the way Sorenson stopped the Tigers from scoring...it was all effort. Then pounced on the loose ball to basically get the Panthers win. Wish we'd have shown the same sort of effort to stop Ponga scoring at the end (sigh)

Fair points Bob.

But I think at the end of the day Manly are better than Newcastle, we just managed to achieve a new level of incompetence losing to a weak team after being up 16-0 and rolling through their defensive line. Perhaps it’s the 18th man (coach) that need to be included for Newcastle to be better.

Regardless, Manly are in my opinion the least entertaining team in the NRL to watch.

Actually I think their squad is a fraction better than our if both at full strength, but thats just a matter of opinion.

We have similar problems:

1 Under performing players on big money. Ponga and Jacko
2 Key players injured. Both teams without starting props.
3 Willing forwards and talented outside backs.
4 Halves that dont create opportunities consistently.

They are in the same bracket as us in 2025 with Eels, Tigers, Dragons and Bunnies. All just a bees bit in front of the Titans.

Galvin should go ok today, he's a heads up instinctive type of player. They say the attendance record for a normal NRL game should be shattered today. Should be good to watch.

They've always had a huge supporter base Bozo, they've just been laid dormant for the best part of a decade.

The Bulldogs got rid of the losers and Invested in a Winners like their New Board , Gus and Ciraldo
