Brisbane are to blame for this second half. In the first half, they were combating Canterbury’s line speed but running into the teeth of the defence and winning contact and a quick play-the-ball, that set up the rest of the set. In the second half, they’ve taken their foot off the pedal and started going more sideways with less commitment in contact.

The blue print to beat the Dogs has been shown in the first half tonight. Aggressive hard and straight running. If you try and go around their rushing defence, they’ll suffocate you.
