Defence wins premierships, so it was pleasing to see that we had a good attitude in D. Attack was below par but hopefully that will come with more game time to build combinations.

The thing that struck me was that parra just looked quicker and more dynamic then us with the ball.

The team is very new and the character they showed in defending was pleasing. We were no match for a well drilled team who has a plan that they stick to. I still think if we had controlled the ball we could have won cause our first try opened them up and we had a few other chances. The big turning point for me is if Tom Turbos pass is not knocked down, Jorge scores in the corner on half time and we have a different ball game then. Lots to work on but promise for a decent year ahead.

Parra and most teams seem quicker and more dynamic because they seem to be a lot fitter than us

So they are a team in defence but not in attack, got it.

to be fair it felt like the times they got into the opposition's 20, they scored. Unfortunately it was only twice.

I have seen plenty of worse performances over our last 30 matches or so.
