He did score 33 tries in 52 games for us in 1982/83. Not too bad. The Super League thing made me hate his guts though.

Ribot was a great finisher in his day and he scored many tries for us and for a big guy as pretty quick.
His involvement in the Super League conflict though soured his reputation in many peoples eyes. Being the CEO of the Donkeys, he pushed a selfish agenda that crippled so many clubs including ours. I will never forget his abuse of the word, Vision!! There will be games in China and the rest of that bollocks. The whole idea of Bronco leagues was that they remain powerful and the rest get the scraps. Since then they and the club he was given, Melbourne as a present from News Limited, to this day dominate year in and year out. They get the best players, have two of the best stadiums, have sponsorships and third party options that the Sydney clubs can only dream of. I hate to admit it but he and his news limited Super League cretins have won the war!!
