We rank 10th for linebreaks this year. Beating teams like the cowboys, raiders, storm...
Average 4 per game which was on par with last year.

We rank 1st for 1 on 1 tackles in the nrl so far this year. Average 24 per game.
We averaged 17 per game in '16.

As the spine gels and the big men come back the linebreaks will increase.
Tackling seems more effective than last year.

These stats mean nothing. When you are constantly defending your line the opposition are coming off shorter starts.
Also, not sure if you were there, but I was shocked how many times a rabbits player took the ball from midfield, ran across the field with no-one touching him, and then linking or making a linebreak himself. There was absolutely no line speed in defence by this team.
23 of the 24 one-on-one tackles are probably Jake T.
Linebreaks are all Tom T.

From the evidence of the first 2 games we are bottom 4 material. I think it will be better to judge it when we are full strength and after about 10 weeks. We will know much more. For Barrett to survive I think we need to be at least 5 and 5 by the end of round 10.

In the pre season I thought we'd be bottom 4 just purely based on how terrible we were last year and I wasn't impressed with our signings and we lost buhrer and killer. Matai and snake didn't play much last year so I didn't count them. Buhrer and killer are massive losses and I didn't think uate green Curtis Siro etc could replace them.

Things will even out. It's round 2. We've been missing Lussick, Lane with injuries. AFB and Tapau with suspension.
