Darren will probably find an excuse not to go, event though it's in one of the souless concrete jungles he loves.

It's bemused me that for so many yeasr we screamed out for a bigger stadium for major events and when we get one, people seem to hate the fact it's so big.

I live on the north shore like many here and have been to ANZ many times. Certainly Friday night is the worst time, but at the end of the day, if you want to fit 50 - 80,000 people in one stadium - what are you supposed to do?

I do agree a Suncorp Stadium style would be brilliant, and the SFS is as close as we've got, but it wouldn't be big enough for GF and so on

I agree a big stadium like ANZ is the only option for fitting in large crowds, and I'll cop it for Finals, Origin etc.

But it is a bad option for crowds under 20,000 or so.
