Attacking embarrassment

Yet again another absolutely pathetic performance. I’m so embarrassed to be a Manly supporter at the moment. Now that we cannot make the finals let’s blood some young talent. We really need a coach that can unleash some attacking play.

Every Manly supporter feels the same. We could unleash some good young players if we still had them. How is Latu Fainu and brother doing at Wests, Kaeo Weekes at Raiders, Jamie Humphries at South’s and so on. Our recruitment and retention is poor. DCE’s announcement poorly handled by both sides. The coach obviously cannot read his players or be able to instil the belief in players to win. While there have been injuries that have been unfortunate they do not excuse the poor effort, if you lose fighting that’s’ one thing but losing because of poor team cohesion in defence or real effort is sad. Your attack starts with good defence. Get rid of deadwood and encourage broth in juniors. A new coach will be best starting point

How hard is it to reinstate some pride in the jersey back in the team?
Usually I look forward to next season, but after years of impotence, not so sure we even have a plan for next year?

Well, I'm not sure how next year is going to pan out. Far less 2027, when the club is presumably letting Garrick walk.

My only hope for the rest of the year is that Canberra wins the comp, so that way we replace one Premiership winning half with another. That in itself ought to give the team some inspiration and motivation. The last question would be, can Seibold channel that motivation into success?
