Which made me think that Cartwright might not be the coach. The Weidler article was definitely a leak from within - a very fat leak - and yet it threw Cartwright under the same bus as a drinking buddy.

He rambles on about reffs calls, players out injured and (self inflicted) off field distractions, then backs all that up by saying "but we are not using that as an excuse, we just where not good enough today making crucial errors at crucial times" or something along those lines.
Wouldn't it be nice to listen to a coach that doesn't roll over and use unfortunate outcomes as a cop out. It's weak and I feel embarrassed for him.
He has done this from the start and still doing it today.
Fingers crossed he hasn't backended any contracts to further screw us down the track.
