I still don't think he will sign an extension...........or even if he does he wont be at Manly in '19

If he doesn't get the Dogs job then he will be at the Dragons in '19.
Dragons will sack McGregor by end 2018 and Baz will be a shoe in for the job.

Either way we will have a new coach in '19!

Just replace Trent with DCE and Foz in that statement and I am having an awful case of dejavu.

There's no solid evidence to this....................but my general perception of Baz is that he doesn't really want to be coaching at Manly.
He just doesn't care that much!
This is just a stepping stone, and sure he wants success because that will increase his market worth, but he's off as soon as the right offer is on the table.

There was something wrong with looking up at the coaches box and seeing Baz & Cartwright, rather than some Manly old boys!

I remember being at Brookie some years ago and a scrum packed down in the southern corner hill side. Bozo was coach and he sent Jim Sedaris onto the field. When he got to the scrum Scott Fulton jogged to the sideline. As Scott got to the sideline Bozo sent him back on. Bozo wanted someone else to come off. So with play held up for several minutes Scott turned around and jogged back to the scrum. As he got to the scrum the woman behind me yelled out " Dad said I could play for a bit longer ". It was absolute gold.

Whilst on fulton i read that Barrett was giving Scott a huge rap as the best talent scout in the business. It's hard to argue given the performance of 20's, Harold Matthews etc.

But years ago I went through four months of negotiations over salary, car allowance and territory stipulations at Toshiba. I’d imagine Trent and management would have more things to meet on common ground with than an area manager at Toshiba. Being that his role is a head coach at an elite sporting club.

I would have had no problem doing that at all mate. However I walked away a few years back and now I’m back on the tools.
