Get ready for it if you are coming to Queensland for the footy this year.

Glass is currently not allowed , which is fair enough , nor cans , and from this year sometime ( think it’s June ) all plastics and or styrofoam packaging are to be banned.

So no plastic cups of beer only paper cups.

No plastic straws , only those **** paper ones.

McDonalds will be ****ting themselves.

So yes come to Suncorp or Robina Stadium and it’s beer in paper cups .

None close by , Robina Tavern used to have a courtesy bus to and from the stadium.

We used to use Robina for the MWTS but it’s not walking distance.

I second that. Living here in Hong Kong you could not imagine the amount of plastic and garbage that washes up onshore daily. We should be promoting a stunning harbour and the lifestyle that goes with it, instead, our seas are strangled in plastic.

What @Mark from Brisbane said. Or go to the “Dog & Parrot at Robina. (But that too, is to far to walk, but they offer the free shuttle bus, same as Robina Tavern.)
I prefer Robina Tavern. It’s a bit bigger, has a really nice deck out back, overlooking the lake. Plus, I have fond memories from there, where, as Mark said, that’s where the Manly Travelling supporter members met up and partied ......they were great times.
But yeah, if you want to eat and drink at CBus Stadium you’ll need to see your bank manager prior to get a loan......it’s a massive rip-off.
