The weekend before the Test match, Canberra were playing Balmain.
There was a lost ball and a scrum getting packed.

I’m not saying this is what the punter meant, but other than trucks, etc,
in horse parlance, a rig is an entire male horse with no signs of external testicles so appears to be a gelding; but one or two testicles are still present, producing testosterone.
This can happen when castrating cattle, too. The nuts haven’t dropped.
Although, cattle aren’t referred to as rigs, only horses.
