The list is long and distinguished unfortunately.

Ken Arthurson, Roy Bull, Gordon Willoughby, Johnny Bliss, Ron Rowles, Kevin Schubert, Rex Mossop, Bob Batty, Nick Yakich, Bill Bradstreet, Alec Tennat, Kerry Boustead, Les Boyd, Geoff Gerrard, John Ribot, Chris Close, Phil Blake, Ray Brown, Phil Sigsworth, John Jones, Martin Bella, Ian Roberts, Jack Elsegood, Chris Hicks, Ben Kennedy.

Just to name a few.

Jack Elsegood (real name Barry for those who don't know), the grandson of Frank "Bumper" Farrell is an interesting one. He's had two careers in two very different sports.

1993 Dally M Rookie of the year was widely tipped 12 months out as a bolter for the 1994 Kangaroo Tour. However a shoulder injury picked up in our successful 1994 World Seven's campaign wrecked his year and saw his form drop and at the end of the year, instead of touring with the Kangaroos he went under the knife to fix his shoulder. Came back in 1995 but missed a spot in our GF loss to the 7th tackle Dogs, and was on the extended bench for our 1996 premiership win over St George, but Bozo chose to have Craig Hancock as our 17th man rather than Jack. He then moved to the Chooks in 1997 and played 4 years with them before retiring in 2000 never having hit the heights that were predicted for him.

After working for....Delmege Residential in 2000/01, he then began a career in motorsport of all things. Had his first race in the HQ series in 2001 then started racing V8 Utes full time in 2002 where he found a home. He won the national V8 Utes championship in 2009 in an XR8 Falcon after having finished 2nd in 2004, 2006 and 2007. He was first in class at the 2007 Bathurst 12 Hour driving an XR8 Falcon sedan and 2nd in class at the 2009 and 2010 Bathurst 12 Hour races in an XR8 Ute.

Sat out '96 due to Superleague, so he deserved to miss out on a premiership win.

IIRC Matthew Ridge was going to do the same until Bozo convinced him to play. It took until Round 9 of 1996 to convince him though. Before that our fullbacks in 1996 had been Hoppa (rounds 1, 2, 5-8) and Shannon Nevin (rounds 3 & 4).

Cronulla.....50th season, 3 GF's, won 0 premierships, 2 minor premierships, 3 wooden spoons. Have been tormented by the mighty Sea Eagles since 15 September 1973.

By the end of our 50th season we'd played in 14 GF's, won 6 premierships, 8 minor premierships and 0 wooden spoons. We torment everyone else ;)
