First Grader
yes it was a bad 2nd half
TBH - the first half was patchy also....
The winning try was dubious, but after a 20-6 lead, the result should have been out of reach at the 78th minute.
The sad part is....this Manly side show glimpses of quality power footy that would compete with ANY team, yet struggle to regain composure once the opposition turn up the heat....unsure if it's a confidence - youth thing, or the hard cold fact, there are a few of them not up to NRL pressure footy.
What I love about footy, is the fact 1 week can turn a teams fortunes....a big win over Dogs and the gloom is clearing.
Then it's NZ and a chance to grow in confidence.
If it's 2 from 2 there - we head to Penrith and have an opportunity for 3 in a row and momentum into the finals.
The old 1 game at a time cliche is the order of the day and have a good feeling Silvertails will have a far more positive vibe, after the Dogs game next week.
