Good to see kite and menzies make the team, but where going to miss them big time against the storm

kite and omealy are the only props - mason, simspon and ryan can do the job ok but not as good as a genuine prop - they are far better at being second rowers

Ox missing out is good for us.

With Kite, King & Kyile out who will be our props on Sat night?

Byrant, Rose then Cutho, Sione/Deadwood I guess

Gotta hope that melbourne lose as many if not more players than us to SOO.

They were talking up Brett White and Dallas Johnson's chances this morning. Lets hope they get picked.

QLD have a decent team this year. My team would have been:-

01. Karmichael Hunt
02. Greg Inglis
03. Justin Hodges
04. Steven Bell
05. Brent Tate
06. Darren Lockyer
07. Johnathon Thurston
08. Petero Civineceva
09. Cameron Smith
10. Steve Price
11. Brad Thorn
12. Ashley Harrison
13. Tony Carroll

14. Matt Bowen
15. Carl Webb
16. Shayne Tronc
17. Steve Southern

I think QLD are happy your not a selector ryan.... i on the other hand(being a blues supporter) would love to see that team play.

I personally think Mason is too big and too slow to be a second rower... i prefer him playing in the front row

I guess cooper is the incumbent centre but if timana tahu isn't the best centre playing the game right now.. i'll stand rooted.

I'd put grothe on the wing and move tahu to centre.. he is the form centre and prefer's playing there

The problem i see with the halves combination they have gone with is that.... Anasta is a ball runner before he is a play maker and if anasta is to play to his strengths which is ball running it puts alot of pressure on Gower to do all of the play making and i don't know if he is all that good at it.

I guess there really isn't anyone else for the job.... matty had his chance, he got first crack at run on halfback in the City v Country game and because he's never played for his state he really needed to have a good crack it and in the end he didn't do that.
