I was hoping he would develop into a player like Ronny Gibbs, transitioning from center to second row. Parks was one of my favorite clubmen, known for his strong defense, hard runs, and toughness. His leg infection during preseason nearly cost him his life—thank you for your service and dedication.

Best of luck Hank Scorpio in retirement. Had many good moments over the years, especially in 2021. Great clubman and manly junior (I think) and always put his body on the line for the club. Nobody can deny that. Certainly copped a bit around here at times and although never a superstar served the club well. All the best Brad!

There is a time and a place for certain posts

This is the time to farewell Brad Parker the Manly Junior who made his Manly dream come true
The Manly dream that we all have dreamed of playing NRL for our Beloved club Manly
But not all of us are privileged to have achieved like Brad Parker

Brad Parker was not blessed with pace or natural skill but to his credit
His hard work ethics , discipline and determination earned him over 100 NRL games .
Like the rest of the feathered friends
I wish him good health and happy future with his family in his Manly nest

To play for 9 seasons and over a 100 games at the top level in a brutal sport when you're not blessed with great natural attributes takes a lot of hard work, determination and single mindedness. There must be countless players who have been blessed with more speed/skill/footy nous etc etc that haven't had half the career of Brad so he should be a very proud man.
Good luck for the future
