I reckon the Panfers might be forced to merge with the Eels, I think we will be forced to move, we might see a " SFS or see ya later" within a few years.....I may well be wrong and hope I am!!!

I hope not too ...... But it would be nice to be able to walk to every home game :p

Its all about Money - Panthers/Parra/Bulldogs are safe with the backing of a mega rich club. The Balmain Leagues club is one of the richest clubs in Sydney and the Tigers & Dragons have already merged and will be given exemptions from moving again. Roosters are safe on the back of Politis Gyngle and Packer. Souffs maybe in trouble again now Crowe going and the Sharks have always been pushing the limits. Manly have been the most successful NRL club in the last 10 years and that shhould mean something - I hope.

Balmain don't have a Leagues Club; it's been closed for two years. Part of the reason for their cash flow problems into the JV. Both entities of the Wests Tigers are struggling at the moment.

Ishould have said Wests at Ashfield is one of the richest clubs in Sydney... They still back the Wests Tigers but are not happy with the Maggies going from the NSW Cup.
