Buhrer

I hear Dale Shearer has given Des a call and has let him know that he's fit and available if needed.....

Sorry but while Ferris was good in his time at Manly, realistically now his best shot at playing more in first grade than reserve grade is probably at one of the lower ranked teams like the Titans.
Or the UK

Would love to see Jamie back at Manly next year, albeit at a discounted rate.

Always thought his best position was bench utility (14), covering hooker/backrow if needed.

If Api goes, Buhrer could be handy on our bench next year.

Great club man, great experience (particularly if Thompson goes) and still a solid player.
No chance for me there are a ton of better players out there. He can come mow the lawns and around the demountables😉

I'm with you @1978. Was sorry to see him leave and would happily take him back as a bench utility on a low rate. Off contract after 2019 and he's only 29.

I think he's still got maroon and white blood and would be back in a heartbeat given a chance. Mind you, he's now got 4 kids under 6, so Newcastle life must sure be agreeing with him.

I wish Jamie nothing but the best of luck wherever he ends up.

If you have a look at our top 30 players this year there are very few who you wouldn't retain. Then there are juniors such as Schuster, Burbo, Guaca, Zac Saddler, Metcalf - plus a few from the Workers - that demand consideration.
It seems to me that we already have more than 30 players worthy of a spot in the top roster for 2020. So talking about recruiting new players is unproductive. Retaining all of our current talent will be a difficult juggling act.

Yes agree TW - suggest;

Miski would be close, Docker Clay if API leaves.

Sadler, Schuster, Burbo would be close along with Metcalf if we can offload Elegy

4 kids under 6!!!

No wonder his form has been patchy

Twin boys last year, but Jamie is producing great stock and should continue :inlove:
