Was there any penalty against the dogs club when they threw bottles onto the field a couple of years ago vs the dragqueens at kogarah ??? If the NRL want to set an example for this repeat offence...and this instance was much worse....then have the guts and do what they do in european soccer....have the grubs play behind closed doors....no fans allowed at their next home game !! That'd give em something to think about when they count out the lost revenue in the hundreds of thousands.

I certainly don't condone what these so called fans did.

I personally am sick of people be it at the footy, pub, shopping centre or walking along the street acting like thugs.

If we are to cop a harsh penalty then so be it but this is a big issue all over.

Mate its a Gen Y thing , they have glorified king hits, drug taking and women bashing. I seriously hope we don't need to rely on them to defend our borders.

The master spin doctor springs straight into action...

Former Bulldogs boss turned NRL head of football Todd Greenberg said: "I know this club better than most from having worked here, this club has done a great job over a long time to make sure the behaviour of their fans is very good. This was an incident that was emotional at the end of the game. This club has done a lot in this regard."

The poor kennel can only hope their messiah greenturd will attempt to cover it up by inferring the bottles thrown were indeed thrown by Eels supporters protesting the game being played on the holy day of Brad Arthur's death.

We all know Brad was resurrected on Sunday, but those Eels supporters are a strict lot.

I can't remember their fans behaving like this in the 80's though I may have been too young to realise. Not real sure in hand 90's either but definitely in the 2000's

We needed police escorts from Belmore in mid 1970s :( It was Greek club then, but their mainly male supporters were aggro even back then @

I used to grab a lift from Revesby to Bankstown station then a train to Belmore and walk to the ground. Watch the game and head home, late 80s early 90's. Not one ounce of trouble. Now 38 with 3 daughters I feel ashamed I can't take them to a game.

They have to be fined and Greenturd ought to be sacked if they are not censured. Every club has a ratbag element in it, their fans are serial offenders and it needs to be dealt with severely. Gosh imagine if this was a grand final, I hate to think of the consequences.

While every club has **** fans the dogs have been much worse than any group since the debut and career of club legend Hazem El Masri

Just putting that out there,he is where a cancer began

Not because of him mind you, he is a good and loyal man

But his fans disgrace his name,i don't know the way to fix it but i know where it started

Greenturd will make this a white wash, the dogs are protected by him, if that were another club you would see massive sanctions. They need to be censured, the bottles were thrown from where their members sit, deal with it Greenturd!

Greenturd is a :swear:ing disgrace. He'd be the first :swear: to come out an vehemently condemn us for anything like that but because it's his precious :swear:ing dogs he's trying to paper over the cracks already. The tool is a cancer on this game. It's been on a rapid decent ever since that flea got his treasured corruption riddled position.

This is him after Manly fans allegedly spat on Barba:

"The behaviour of the fans was disgraceful," Greenberg said. "We’ve complained to the NRL and they will be looking at Channel Nine footage to try to identify the fans."

Greenberg, who joins the NRL next month, was critical of the lack of security as the players left the field.

Same circumstances a game decided by a controversial decision, both losing clubs are mightly pissed off, one club has one or 2 fans that behave badly and the other club has major incident that is not justified by the same grub. Come on Greenturd, govern fairly for all of us or get out of the NRL. The dogs screwed up and must be made to pay!!
