Burbo

Is there really that much difference from Burbo to guys like Blore, Sorrenson, Garner etc? I don’t think so. There is always a few on the cheaper side that are needed to balance the team.
Plus he continues to improve. Pretty clear to me that he's adjusted better to NRL this year and I expect him to be better again next year.

Yes there is , huge difference

Melbourne : Hughes, Munster
Penrith: Cleary , Luai ( 4 titles)

If you haven't got absolute superstars as playmakers you need great pigs- Fog/ Brooks aren't like the above.

Canberra is classic example : Fog and Strange ( although he has grown hugely over season ) weren't superstars but their pack is great.Burbot would not be close to making their 17.

Can Burbo please clean up his errors? Three bad handling errors tonight in attack. Two of those he looked shocked to be receiving the ball. If you are a back rower running those lines, you have to be expecting the ball EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Otherwise his game was excellent again, and really happy with his trajectory… just clean up that one aspect.

Burbo made progress this year and we have not seen the best of him. He needs to work on his weaknesses. Too many errors with the ball is an issue for him, that needs to improve.
Most consistent forward we had all year....by a mile. Really stepped up at season end when forward stocks have been depleted. His missed tackle count has really improved to the point he went 2 games without a miss and over 40 completed. Also takes a run nearly every set. Biggest improver at the club and imo will get better. Manly’s best this year was Toula, next Benny T......IMHO.

TKO has been ten times better and consistent without the errors.

I guess you can't go off just stats because I thought Burbo had a pretty good game, but Wadell's stats seem better (nrl . com) and I thought the same with TKO. People are giving him points, but Lodge played 10 less minutes but most of his stats are better.

🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🍺

Stats are only reliable 148% of the time.

Burbo is a big improver this year. Playing consistently. Just needs to learn to run in the holes in attack and also not crowd the ball distributor. In D needs to lose the Jake traits of giving away 6 agains.
I do think Brooks runs a diagonal that cramps the left, this has forced Koula to drop further inside to create space.
