A number of years ago my mates and I had a run in with him during the origin camp at Terrigal hotel for some behaviour that turned me right off him. Our other mate (who is in football circles) was getting on well with Petero and they both intervened before it turned into a blue.

Hated him since then.

Great player but acts like he is bigger than the game itself. Will do anything to win, including cheat. Has no integrity in my book.

Got to respect leading 20 pre-seasons down at the storm..a mental toughness not many possess. Still, never liked him.

Can’t stand the prick , never have , never will BUT probably one of the greatest ever players to strap on a boot.

Just imagine how many Premierships we’d have now if he was a lifetime Sea Eagle!
